Photos from Culture Chock Events Evening with Chris Judge and Gary Graham in Melbourne, and Supanova Melbourne are now online at the Castle Photography site!

All new photo spreads will by placed on www.castlephotography.com.au, and this one will be gradually converted back to a plain (software) business site. I expect the process will take a few years for eveyone to update links…etc so don't think your favourite photos are vanishing just yet!.

Alan Ruck at the Astor Cinema and Geelong

You know him from Ferris Bueller's Day Off and many other films. You also know him from Spin City. In fact if you look through your DVD cabinet you might be suprised how many of your fave's he's played a part in...

Alan's visit to Melbourne was something of a whirlwind. Press appearances and interviews on Friday, Signings and Q&As all day at the Astor on Saturday (plus the showing of Star trek Generations and Ferris Bueller's Day Off), and a half day event at Geelong on Sunday to finish the weekend!

Sylvester McCoy at the Dr Who Fan Club of Victoria

The first Dr Who convention in Melbourne for a long time! Guests included Sylvester McCoy - the 7th Doctor, and David Weston - Biroc in the 1981 Warriors' Gate Episodes.

Terra Nova V - Adelaide

Featuring Guests Avery Brooks (Capt Sisko, Star Trek:Deep Space 9) and Barry Jenner (Admiral Ross, Star Trek:Deep Space 9). This was a weekend event, with various activities on Saturday, and the main convention on the Sunday.

Jonathan Hardy (Farscape) signed in the Dealer's room on Sunday.

Supanova Brisbane 2007

Supanova hit Brisbane again! Guests included Karl Urban (Eomer, LOTR), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian, Star Wars), Ron Glass (Shepherd Book, Firefly & Serenity), Aaron Douglas (The Chief, Battlestar Galactica) and Dan Bacon (Stargate…).

Sci-Fi Extreme's Star Trek Convention

Featuring guests Jonathan Frakes and Gigi Edgley (Garrett Wang was not able to attend).

I was only able to go on the Sunday (it was a weekend event), so if anything interesting happened on Saturday you won't find a photo here unfortunately. Of course, having met Jonathan now, I wish I could have afforded the whole weekend - great bloke!!

An Evening with Jolene Blalock

First Contact Conventions presented a one off event for Australian Trek fans: an Evening with Joline Blalock (T'Pol on Enterprise, and Ishta on Stargate SG-1) on 29th November. We were very lucky that she was travelling in Australia and had spare time for an appearance - and with only three weeks notice too!

AusTrek 30th Anniversary mini-Convention and Ball

On Saturday 25th November, Austrek, the Star Trek Club of Victoria had their 30th Anniversary, making them the second oldest Star Trek Club in the World!! They Celebrated with a mini-convention, and Costume Ball in the evening!!

Special guests at the convention included: Dr Djoymi Baker and Jane Badler (Diana from V).
