Training & Consulting/Support

Have you reached the advanced level of Access, Word, Excel…etc and don't want to pay for custom development, but are finding it difficult to get answers for the problems or questions you have? Contact us to set up an ongoing technical phone support arrangement or for short one-on-one consulting sessions.

Training Courses Available

It isn't practical for us to run training courses. However the outlines below will give you an idea of the technical areas we can cover for Access/VBA programming if you want to arrange for one-on-one consulting/training.

Access Programming Part 1 Part 1 of a two course series designed to introduce students to Access Basic programming. This course goes over the Visual Basic for Applications language, examines how it is used to automate operations within Access, and provides students with a small library of code and techniques they can use in their own projects. Students should realise that this course requires a substantial commitment to review the materials given out during each lesson.
Please note that this course does NOT cover techniques for programming data (DAO or ADO). Those topics are covered in the second course in this series.
Prerequisites: Advanced knowledge of Access is essential. Attendance at the Advanced Access course is required, or student must have an equivalent level of ability. This is a course for those who want to learn to program using Access Basic in Access 97, 2000, XP or 2003.

Access Programming Part 2 Part 2 of a two-course series designed to introduce students to Access Basic programming. This course goes over the Visual Basic components that allow a programmer to add, edit and manipulate databases directly. The programming techniques required in both Access 97 (DAO) and 2000/XP/2003 (ADO) will be covered and students will be provided with a small library of code they can use in their own projects. Students should realise that this course requires a substantial commitment to review the materials given out during each lesson.
