Alan Ruck at the Astor Cinema and Geelong

Alan's visit to Melbourne was something of a whirlwind. Press appearances and interviews on Friday, Signings and Q&As all day at the Astor on Saturday (plus the showing of Star trek Generations and Ferris Bueller's Day Off), and a half day event at Geelong on Sunday to finish the weekend!

Alan's Movies at the Astor

Two movies were shown on Saturday: Star Trek Generations, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Alan spent most of the day at the Astor, talking to fans, signing, having photos taken, and of course doing the Q&As after each session.

Afternoon Convention in Gelong

Unfortunately Geelong's success at the football meant that this afternoon was fairly intimate. But that just meant everyone here spent more time with Alan in person! This was a mini-convention - an extended Q&A, photos, autographs and some trade tables.

We also had a presentation from one of the F/X guys who is working on the new fan film Star Trek: Of Gods and Men who just happens to be based here in Geelong!
