First Contact Conventions was also proud to present Dear Diva, in her first Australian appearance, at the Butterfly Club in Melbourne for four nights last week.


		The Convention This was the busiest event yet for First Contact Conventions. Two guests became three, then four. Finally Action Stunts Australia offered to do a demonstration, and we had a day jam packed with things to see… Just in time to relax later in the evening at the cocktail party!
		Ken Ludden Ken has just published the first in a series of books. Book #1 is called "Second Pass". He was here to tell us something of the book, and his experiences with self publishing.

		The Charity Auction Kevin brought a lot of personal items from set with him to be auctioned for his charity A World Fit For Kids. In fact between those and some local charity items we ran out of time. Thanks to everyone who bought an item…

		Official Photos At the request of the convention organisers, the official photos are not online this time. If you would like reprints, look on the back of the photo you received at the event. You will find a filename like "IMG_1234.JPG" printed there. This is the photo Id that I require for all orders. Remember, the photos you purchased are YOURs, so if you want to put your own copies online that is your prerogative, but unfortunately I can't display them here for everyone to see..
